Free users can't DL from rapidshare!

So rapidshare has decided to not let free users download from it anymore.

If you try downloading as a free user, you will get a "404 not found", while the same file can be downloaded from a premium account or a leech site.

I guess they're getting really desperate for money :S

However, don't they realize that this will only hurt their reputation & site overall, as something like this will definitely get some uploaders to move...

Anyone else starting to think that rapidshare might be closing down in the next few months?

I think free users not being able to download anymore is hardly a "part of a bigger problem"...

Unless this is a mistake or something, which I doubt, everything considered.

There was a time, not long ago.. I reached 3.3MB/s on Rapidshare as a premium user.
Now I'm happy when I reach 1.3MB/s xD

Try from your browser not jdownloader or anything similar.

And I was wrong, not ALL links have this problem, just most of them.

I am perfectly calm, I use a seedbox + private trackers to download so I don't need rapidshit.

I Just wanted to raise awareness of this issue >.<
