Crypto Free Crypto Calculators: Profit, Leverage, Position Size, Risk/Reward, Liquidation & DCA

Hey everyone,

I have been building out the free tools section of CryptoYaan and wanted to share something that I think may actually be useful for people here who trade crypto.

There are currently 5 calculators, covering profit, leverage, position sizing, risk/reward, liquidation and DCA.

No signup is required, and the calculations run in the browser.

1. Crypto Profit & Leverage Calculator

This is the main all-in-one calculator for checking a trade before or after entering it.

You can use it for both spot and leveraged/futures scenarios, and for either long or short positions.

It calculates:

  • Profit and loss
  • ROI
  • Leveraged ROI / ROE
  • Position size
  • Investment amount
  • Coin quantity
  • Break-even price
  • Exit value
  • Gross P&L
  • Entry and exit fees
  • Price change %
  • Estimated liquidation price
  • Risk/reward
  • Profit at take-profit
  • Loss at stop-loss
  • Annualized return
  • Funding cost
  • Slippage cost
There are also advanced inputs for:

  • Trading fees
  • Separate entry and exit fees
  • Maker/taker fees
  • Slippage
  • Take-profit
  • Stop-loss
  • Funding rate
  • Holding period
  • Hours in position
One feature I particularly like is the scenario table, which shows different possible exit prices and the corresponding P&L and ROI instead of forcing you to look at only one target.

It can also load a live market price or let you enter your own numbers.

2. Crypto Position Size Calculator

This one is focused much more on risk management.

Instead of deciding how much you want to buy first, you enter:

  • Account balance
  • Risk per trade %
  • Entry price
  • Stop-loss price
  • Optional leverage
The calculator then works out:

  • Dollar risk
  • Stop distance
  • Position size
  • Position value
  • Coins to buy
  • Margin required
  • Percentage of account used
This is useful for traders who want to say something like:

"I have a $1,000 account and I am only willing to risk 1% on this trade. How large should my position actually be?"
The calculator works backwards from the amount you are willing to lose and the distance to your stop.

It supports both spot and leveraged/futures planning.

3. Crypto Risk/Reward Calculator

This combines risk management + position sizing + target planning in one place.

Enter:

  • Account balance
  • Risk per trade
  • Entry
  • Stop-loss
  • Take-profit target
  • Optional leverage
You get:

  • Risk/reward ratio
  • Reward vs risk
  • Dollar risk
  • Dollar reward
  • Potential profit
  • Potential loss
  • Position size
  • Coins to buy
  • Reward as % of account
  • Margin required
So instead of just asking:

"Can this trade make money?"
you can ask:

"How much am I risking, how much am I targeting, and is the reward large enough relative to the risk?"
That is a much more useful way to plan a trade.

4. Crypto Liquidation Price Calculator

For anyone trading futures, this is one of the numbers I think should be checked before opening a leveraged position.

Enter:

  • Coin
  • Long or Short
  • Entry price
  • Leverage
  • Optional maintenance margin
The calculator estimates:

  • Liquidation price
  • Distance to liquidation in %
  • Dollar distance from entry
For example, increasing leverage from 10x to 20x dramatically reduces the room a position has before liquidation.

You can also use it to compare different leverage levels before opening a position.

One important note: liquidation prices are estimates, not exchange guarantees. Actual liquidation depends on the exchange, contract type, maintenance margin tier, fees, funding, mark price and whether the position is isolated or cross margin.

5. Crypto DCA & Average Cost Calculator

For anyone who has bought the same coin multiple times at different prices, this one can save a lot of manual calculation.

You can add multiple purchases with:

  • Buy price
  • Dollar amount
Then the calculator gives you:

  • Total invested
  • Coins held
  • Weighted average entry
  • Average price
  • Break-even
  • Current value
  • Unrealized P&L
  • Return %
  • Fees paid
  • Cost basis
  • Adjusted average cost
  • Net P&L after fees
It also supports a live current price or a price you enter manually.

The important part is that it calculates the weighted average cost, because buying $1,000 worth at $1 and $1,000 worth at $2 does not mean your average cost is simply $1.50.

The cheaper purchase gives you more coins.

Why I built them this way

There are plenty of crypto calculators around, but I wanted these tools to fit together around actual trade planning.

A typical workflow could be:

1. Position Size

First decide how much you are prepared to lose.

2. Risk/Reward

Check whether the potential reward makes sense compared with that risk.

3. Liquidation

If leverage is involved, check how much room you actually have before liquidation.

4. Profit & Leverage

See what the trade looks like after fees, slippage, funding and different exit prices.

5. DCA

If you are building a position over multiple purchases, keep track of your real average entry and break-even.

So these are not five completely unrelated calculators. They can be used together as a small crypto trade planning toolkit.

Some useful things the calculators can answer

How much profit would I make if BTC moves from X to Y?

What would my ROI be with 5x or 10x leverage?

How much BTC or ETH should I buy if I only want to risk 1% of my account?

What is my risk/reward ratio?

How much would I make if the target hits?

How much would I lose if my stop gets hit?

Where would my leveraged position approximately liquidate?

How far is liquidation from my entry?

What is my real average entry after buying the same coin multiple times?

What price do I actually need to break even after fees?

How much do fees, funding and slippage change the result?

That's really the idea behind CryptoYaan in general.

Less hype, more numbers.

I don't want the calculators telling people what to buy. I want them to make the numbers easier to understand before they make a decision.

All five calculators are free and do not require an account.

I would genuinely like feedback from people here who actively trade.

Are there any other crypto calculators you think are worth adding?

For example, I'm considering expanding this into more advanced trading and risk-management tools rather than just adding random calculators.

Disclaimer :
CryptoYaan is an educational tool and not financial or investment advice.
Crypto trading carries significant risk, especially when leverage is involved.
Always verify important figures against your exchange before placing a trade.
