Also keep in mind that ZPanel fork had some security issues in the past .. so its good to keep it up to date.

No way, I have 1 site with VestaCP and only use around 200 MB of RAM. VestaCP run smoothly on 512 MB VPS

i have installed Vesta Control Panel on KVM VPS it only take 190 MB of my ram.. i have been using vesta for more than 1 years and it run perfectly..

But in my opinion lowest ram usage control panel is webmin. but there are weakness if you use webmin, because webmin is not so user friendly and dificult to use for beginner

VestaCP uses as much memory as your server has and caches it. It is lightweight.

You can try VestaCP, I think it's most powerful along the free open-source tools.
