In 2005, to get a reseller, you must have to go thru many loops to get a free reseller. And, it didn't last long. Many of the providers, ended closing, randomly deleting accounts, or changing server's purpose.

Nonetheless, you have had to go to freewebspace.net or freeresellers.com(today LunarCP) and send a request there. Many post2hosts do appear, offering you one but in a month or so, disappear. This continues till today, so be careful with whom you trust.

Most of those accounts were low-end, and they had too many restristions in place (both in TOS and in server). They were slower and highly oversold, not even allowing you to use even 600 MB of space (being allocated 5GB!)

Today, it's easier to get a free VPS or big reseller, by visiting us, or any other free reseller site. But keep in mind, that we are the only site at the time that offers 200 GB reseller and let you use it. We have a server that keeps up with the demand, with enough RAM and space to handle most resellers. Space is generous on the newbie package.

Other free reseller sites (such as LunarCP) are either too strict or won't let you play much with the accounts you get with them. (Lights: edit this post and add if we are allowed to use our accounts to provide free hosting and storage of files, and anything you feel fit for this post)

tl;dr How to get our nice offer?

First of all, sign up to the forums. It's easier, and don't take much time.
Confirm your email.
Sign in.

Make an introductory post, where you can say your name, your country and a special message you want to tell us.
Make 30 quality posts on the forums. This does not mean you have to post them on a rush; take your time. Just visit regularly, post, make new friends and you'll see your post count fly! Try to be online daily, and you will also be informed of any news we have to keep up with.

After you got 30 posts, apply for the Newbie package, by going to the Request services forum and posting a thread with the info posted here: Request a reseller, and make sure you fill everything out.

Wait for the staff to reply, and create.
Enjoy your reseller!

After you met the times said here, you may apply again for an upgrade to Member first, and then Pro, and enjoy a 200GB reseller for free, (a $40 value) where you can have 50 (or more) websites in it. Very nice for a free or paid web hosting company!

Just make sure to make your monthly posts tho. If you stop posting, you may lose your reseller, and if you have paid clients, you will be liable for damages. Keep up with your activity!
