ftp.eu is very slow...

Filesonic is registered in Hong-Kong, what you see is IP bought in Hong Kong, and put or webazilla server, which is physically located in Amsterdam. They can switch, rearrange IPs however they want, nothing to do with IP, or with ping, or where their servers physically are.

Traceroute is showing you a physical travel of package, and gives you physical location of server, with that IP.

And this image:

shows you from where IP originates. and again: IP, not server itself.

Ping is bad because their servers are probably overloaded. It's weekend.

i understood that. but why that delay in ping? does it means those packets are going somewhere and then back to server?

They don't have one server in NL mate,lol. We are all getting connected to one server ftp.eu.filesonic.com, and our data is going on different servers scattered around datacenter.

ftp.eu is just a server which connects your server with first available, and less busy server. Same goes for web uploading.

fileserve is just a bitch....they only relay on US DC... they are going out of biz soon like duckload.

Not sure but i think you have to confirm it (you must recive e-mail check also the spam folder)

1. Using premium account remote upload files from either fileserve or wupload or whatever to filesonic
2. Using 1Gbps server, download files first to local disk then re-upload these files to filesonic via ftp or web page upload.
