No as these are micropayments, it is handled by CarrotPay. Anyone can signup to CarrotPay and then you can withdraw to your Paypal from CarrotPay. I believe CarrotPay will allow you to withdraw any amount to PayPal or your bank account.

FileShoppe is an account-less system. We do not track earnings and therefore do not hold a credit balance in any uploader's name.

What we do instead, to minimize overhead and simplify things, is have downloaders pay directly into a CarrotPay merchant account. As far as we are aware, CarrotPay is the only micropayment system that supports this feature.

CarrotPay are also quite a new comer (a year or so?) and they are very keen to work with new merchants. At the moment they advertise withdrawals to bank accounts and paypal but I am sure they will add alternatives such as liberty reserve, webmoney, alertpay etc.

But we cannot do this. Our fees are so low $0.10 per GB. Were we to use traditional payment systems, such as PayPal, we would have to charge at least $0.50 per download just to cover our costs to receive payment.

We feel that the inconvenience of signing up to a new payment system is made up for by the fact you dont have to signup or commit to FileShoppe.

what is CarrotPay Merchant ID ?

CarrotPay merchant ID is like a PayPal E-Mail address.

If you were to get yourself a CarrotPay account, the merchant ID would automatically fill in if you are logged in.

You can get CarrotPay through their website, http://carrot.org.

In fact, the easiest thing to do to get youself a CarrotPay account is this:

Here is an example download link: http://mercury.fileshoppe.net/file/nYD3VM3KKAY0OU33O8S3qMU_/co-pharaoh_32.jpg

Click on 'fast download' and the wallet should just pop-up. If you are not already a user, you can register on-site. Then you will have a merchant ID automatically filled in when you click on the 'Merchant ID' box on the upload page.

Great! If you need any help, please do let us know. Given we're quite new, we are keen to get as much feedback as possible so we can improve our services :)

I believe we would be able to exchange your CarrotPay funds to a number of payment methods other than Paypal. What are the most popular methods for payments? We would be willing to help set-up exchanges for virtually any system.

On Carrotpay, I can't find option withdraw to paypal. Only option transfer to bank (Hongkong and china Bank).
