Hi ricky, I'd like to have a clarification : How do you exactly count the downloads? I mean if an anonymous or free user downloads 10 different files from me then I'll earn the equivalent of 10 files...right? But if a premium user downloads 10 different files from me I'll earn the equivalent of 1 file...right?

If 10 different files are downloaded by an anonymous or free user then you will be credited for all 10.
If a Premium downloads 10 different files it will be credited as 1.

Problems

FTP after 1 month is still broken and now you need an extra 2 weeks? What kind of file host needs 6+ weeks?

RU randomly does not download files. It doesn't connect to the host, it doesn't even try.

RU/FTP connection randomly breaks
Download connection randomly breaks


This is turning into a big joke. Do you understand that there's no point in using fileserve if uploading doesn't work? I've uploaded to netload, rapidshare, hotfile, megaupload, filesonic and none of these hosts had the number and length of problems you guys have.

Almost everything about fileserve is broken.

Firstly, you come in here trying to big up yourself like you know what is really going on. You think we sit on our bums all day and do nothing, while we're working our (yes) fucking heads off to solve everything for you (not really you, but everyone else in general).

Thirdly, nothing constructive was given in your post. You were saying downloads breaks, read first page. You say FTP breaks, we have no records of such; that's your connection... (etc.)

Fourthly, I do not see myself raised above all. You speak to me with respect, you get respect in return. Anyone who has PM'd or written in here can attest to this. We don't shave anything, if we did we would have easily displayed some figures for you and brought them "up to date" in no time. Anyone who has tested the downloads/file manager will see that we don't shave. You can believe what you want, but don't try to get fooled by any other programs available out there

I've had to resort to running an FTP server cause your stuff doesn't work. It records everything and some RU dont even connect. Many just abort half way through. I usually submit 3-4 files at a time and only 2-3 of them connect. Its a problem on your end not mine.

I'm sure by now alot of people are fustrated with the crappiness of the RU function here.

I find it really fishy that you have so many steps to get a payout. Most hosts do it automatically. But no at fileserve you got your earnings, then payout then you have to request a payout and after you request your payout it takes days if not weeks.

Oh wait did i mention that I'm not even complaining about the payouts or earnings? I'm complaining about upload functionality. Yet here you are acting like a complete idiot.

Sorry buddy. We've been honest from the get-go, and due to this honesty and transparency we've gained popularity.

We don't shave, we have never shaved, nor will shave. It is as simple as that.

I know our stuff works; we can see it works. It might not work on your end, but it sure works on many other's.

Our RU is not meant to work with anything else but other hosts, so why you're setting up an FTP and trying to remote is beyond me to understand.

You would understand why our system was setup the way it was. Again let me refer back to my second paragraph; we don't shave. We check. If we did shave and had people make the minimum, we would probably "automatize" it as well since there wouldn't be no real loss. Second to this is that people would be able to redeem vouchers with dishonest earnings, hence a 2 step progress. You must have failed to understand that somewhere when we put out this function.

We have nothing to hide, I have every right to speak to you in the same manner you're addressing ME or the service I'm working for. That you failed to understand too. Will RemoteUpload be better? Let me give you an example: FileSonic Remote Upload is mega fast and it work's like a charm. It even gives you the links when finished. Would be nice if FileServe would have this functionality, too.
