I dont get what is going on, are rebills still not beeing counted?

Rebills are automatically done by Paypall, but the account is blocked, so no more rebills unless someone tells our users that they have to manually extend their account with the new payment gateway.

Otherwise, massive losses for everyone :(

It seems users still buy many accounts :) We have a very small loss of sells due to rebills not existense. I think users like FileMates :sun:

You are right mate, we added a message under the top menu with updates. This will help users be informed about changes ;)

Also bank transfers has been added as payment option.

Guys thank you all for your trust and support messages. We will do the best to stand up again!!!

I love the option for bank transfers, but why so expensive ?

I suppose your bank is in the euro zone, and so is mine, so there are no costs at all.

However, if you have to wire money to a guy in India, costs will be enormous....

So why not simply let the receiver pay the wire costs ?

there are 2 reasons. 1) we have administrative costs as this option needs more than a simple email address click 'n send
2) this prohibits small uploaders from asking transfers. if we leave it as you say everybody that earns even 20 or 30 euros will prefer to send them to his bank...
This is supposed to be a solution for larger amounts of 1000+ per month... for such amount (e.g. 1000) a commission of total 20€ (10+1%) is not that bad... you will receive 980€ ;)

Do Bank transfer support all banks ?

yes

just received a questiion if rebills will work...

OF COURSE. You do not need to get confused. Paypal subscriptions will not work. This doesn't mean that when the user MANUALLY renews you will lose your commission. You get commission EVERY time the account renews to premium (manually or by subscription).

I hope this clears things a bit.

I solved the problem by simply putting a message on my blog that "Filemates does not longer do automatically rebills, but that you have to do it manually"

No need to scare people with Paypall problems, I think most people will like Filemates more now these rebills are set on manual

Btw : I just received a sale, so the new gateway works 8-)

Nice to hear that it works. I mean that the technical part of the integration has been implemented well :)

Now we are working on offering recurring option for those that decide to pay automatically.

To tell the truth, yesterday, I was afraid that without the recurring billings of Paypal the income would be decreased. I want to proudly say that today we almost reach our payments record. I think users like more CC options of 2CO than Paypal. I now realize that recurring billing is not that important. Users that really like our service will buy manually when their account expires.

Also, after a contact with 2CO they do not have problem with file hosting websites as they aproved our website... The only thing is to see now if they pay on time as they say.

hi dear filemates, i can't upload any files by zoom uploader, what is the problem?

A technical problem with 1 of our servers. I think you can now upload without problem.

Just implemented recurring billing for monthly premium plan.

If everything works fine this is done :)

We will wait few hours to see if technically creates issues or not!

News for everyone:
Everything seems to be under control again. After almost 2 days of very hard work, stress and problems it seems we can move on again ;)

I just wanted to say thanx to everyone for the support and the nice messages you sent. We saw at no time trust issues. We are happy to see that you trust FileMates and you don't run away after the first obstacle.

We already executed a part of payment requests. We will process all payment requests by time order.

We had 90% of payment requests to paypal and now without it and the paypal funds BLOCKED, we must upload funds to other platforms like Alertpay and Moneybookers.

I think that, if God wants, you will all have received your payments during the next 10 days. Sorry if it is not 3 as per our rules, or few hours as we used to until now, but we must face this problem and we ask a small patience for integration procedure!!!
