What dou you think will happen if you make 2comments within 30minutes regarding that the site is offline? Be a bit more patiently if thinks not working for your convenience.
Within 2hours there are 5 comments now that the site is down, why you guys think ppl need more than one message to get it?

the first question was for other users making sure that the problem wasn't just my connection....if people here are commenting regarding the site down, most are just making sure that the problem is not just their connection...
It's incredible. How can you announce "THE NEW FILEMATES" yesterday the site was down like 3 times at least and the day before that and so on...
I don't understand how can you fix something and then is crashing again after couple of hours? Install better security if you are attacked by hackers, install servers (you already did that), make everything in your power to fix this site. I didn't had so many crashes in my hole time working with the old filesonic, crashes that happens to filemates in a couple of days...
Anyway, I can't say "I hope they will fix this soon" I will say I hope they will fix this permanently... If you fix a site for 2 hours you fix it for nothing....

You are right my friend... This was not a security problem though. We had double visits in one day... It is incredible how many people get attracted by FileMates the last week. I am happy but the same time it creates an extremely high and unexpected overload of the server.
That's why the servers' cofnigurations get changed continously, to test what is the best one for high traffic. You know every server has specific characteristics and the configuration, according to the script used, can be better in a way or another...
Today for example, all day long we had NO overload and the visits are extremely high again. This is good. This doesn't mean that this is the best cofniguration, though.
If it overloads again new parameters will need to be checked. The good thing is that with the new tools created, leechers and attackers get blocked easily as they get detected very fast. I hope the new configurations can afford the traffic boom of the last days...

just for historical purposes filemates started growing on march 2012 when RYUshare for example was already on 4000 in alexa stats...
You compare sites who already had their BIG audience with a new site... FileMates is not yet 1 year old... :P

and they beated you because they use webmoney, webmoney is one and only company
fight against antihost companies. Add webmoney otherwise your beats will be a line like a death host.
@ananisikim, what is your point? Do you have the IQ of a worm? Everybody is using a host company comparing the results they have. If you have a lot of earnings using the smallest company on the market of course you gonna use that. I can't use a big super company that is no working for me and also ryushare and lumefile are crap, CRAP, because one of them is not allowing the US and the other one 99% of the time is not offering free downloads...
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, why are you even here with those statistics, to prove what? Are you working on ryushare and lumefile or something, because I see you want to promote those craps on the filemates thread?

I never used filemates and never will do Kinepolis, no need to worry. I do not play with kids.

One thing, why are some files unavailable right now?
People are having problems downloading certain files which are showing up as unavailable but they are online..
Is any server having problems?
