Yes. I have got 3 sales with EUR 0.4x....

update: got another EUR 0.4X sales yesterday.

Not only do I support putting japanese guide there. I would suggest a more detaill guide. Japan traffic is not only "high". They actually buy! and that's the most important thing.

as you know we are searching a mode to monetize free downloads...
the exe tool used found you against and got removed...
there are other options though... url shortener... i imagine you almost all know what this is...
instead of showing the download url to the user i shorten the link and when he clicks he gets an ad page that waits for few seconds to see the interstitial ad and the proceeds to the real link and gets the file...

Is this OK for you?

why dont you contract some ads...put a wauit time of 30 seconds till download link apperas for free users (as you had before) and make money from ads...30 seconds its a good time and i am sure you get lots of money...its ust an idea wich someone presented few pages back....its a good one i think...
 
Yes Mates,

Wait time of 30 seconds is good - 45 to 60 seconds may be even better.

Ads are an idea - but don't go too wild with any of them - and, sometimes too many can be too confusing and/overwhelming.

I suppose you mean the one with the bee :)

I'm already using it but am looking for a better solution as they really pay nothing (avg CPM for this month $ 1.36, only Western Europe traffic AND they pay only for a couple of views per user)


+ they block accounts if they receive DMCA complaints. Of course we are all nice people, but if one guy uploads something illegal and complains, you can be blocked :'(

Think you should look for an affiliate problem, try to find something that people from all countries often buy online (hotels, travel... maybe something with video advertising ?)
 
Yes mate :) ... why don't you put some ads in the page where the downloadable link generating for the free user, for 30 seconds or if you want for 60 or 180 seconds, but I don't prefer the shorten links bc it'll affects the uploaders who already using another shorten links service ( like adf.ly ), it will be too commercial if the downloader has two ads pages for getting each link, the external shortening link, and filemates shorten link )...

That's what I see, although for me I don't care too much because more than 95% of my links now are already for premium users only and I don't use any of shorten link service. 8-)
 
deleted pending users... every now and then we delete users that have not confirmed their accoutn for long time... that's why ;)

Today we make a record of sales after the paypal problem... we go back to the good days of late July...
