This is a new feature enabled today!!! You earn 5% and you can add your website from your account section. You can verify it with a txt file or a meta tag...

Be sure you comply with our requirements that you have a legal website. Read the first post of this thread for details of this feature

Note for everybody:
1) Yesterday we made a record of sales after the 1st of July that Paypal banned us. This shows that FileMates began to grow again. Thank you all mates.

You are the best FileMates!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) About payments we are executing payments every day. Be sure you will receive your money even if a bit late. We just try to stand up again Give us a bit of time. If it continuous like this middle August we will go back to the normal GOOD rythms FileMates had before July :D

And a question to the public:
As you know we always act with your suggestions. You know better than ever how your clients react You say that 45 days plan makes confusion to your stats or others said/sent me PMs that it doesn't have sense to put it...

So the question is: Do you think a 3 days trial for 3.99€ or a 7 days trial for 5.99€ could be better than 45 days for 12.99€? Could this help you earn more from quantity of sales instead of price of sales?

NO for god's sake mates don't add either 3 or 5 please let's say i have e lecher who will get a three or five days trial and leaks all my files the limit is 40GB 40GB*5 200GB so u are just giving him the opportunity to leak faster and Pay less

Agree! NO lower than 30 days premium option! In that case all my sales will be 3 days plan, and the user will download all my website content in that time.

OK guys I will do what you say. My opinion though is that a 3 days plan for 3.99€ would help you increase sales. OK you are right about leechers but our stats show that 12-20% of people who register on FileMates buy a Premium account.

There is a whole 80-88% that could buy it if the price is lower... and even if your users download all your files in just 3 days (very difficult but yes there is this possibility) you will always upload one two new files then and they will have to pay you AGAIN because 3 days pass in an instant

If you see porn sites they follow this practice. Why? Because they know that in 3 days they will put anew video and you will have to pay again a 3 day trial or then upgrade to more time as you will have realized your error...

Anyway, i still wait your suggestions and we will see!

Okay mates just try to understand that stats are differant from actuall practice for over two years i had tried out 5 and 15 days plans they suck they ruin th income for us both why let's say i upload 3 new files daily wich not every body do a leacher will buy 3 or 5 days plan down all what i have that is new to him maybe reupload them to free service or another PPS or PPD and i lose my traffic for good for Less money and come next month buy a 3 days trial down all that is new to him and so on am talking about leackers and content stealers not normal users that will want all the new file at the moment they see them again and again it will hurt both if us like a true bitch

Please again NO 3/5/7/15 days Plans PLEASE

Why not to give an owner of the file a chance to decide what set of plans he can use on his website: 1 day, 2 day, 3 day, 7 day, etc.
FilePost had that possibility to add 1 day plan in their options page. HitFile has it too.
It worked perfectly as I remember.

This is not possible as premiums are not per uploader. When someone is premium he uses his account to download as premium from every uploader. so even if you put 1 day plan hw can download with this from others as well so plans will be what the majority prefers!

Every plan under 30 days is total BS.

I have some blogs and i get 15+sales/day(not with filemates).My visitors

usually looking for one specific movie/software/game and after they get it

they leave.95% of my visitors would pay the 3days trial,get everything he

needs from my site and forget it forever.That would be a disaster for me to

get 2-3$ /sale.

I offer quality stuff to my visitors and there is a price(average 10$/euro for

the one month subscripton) what they have to pay for it and it works like

a charm.Just look at filesonic,fileserve etc didnt offer shitty 3 days trial

either.

And the most important thing is:USING THE CREDIT CARD ONLINE

Most ppl still hate/afraid to use their credit card online .If they already

decided to use(its the hardest part) doesnt really matter the price.4.99 or

9 euro?If they need ur stuff they will pay 4-5euro more.You should force

the visitors to pay the higher price.

As i see one month premium costs 8.99Euro,i think its a perfect price you

shouldnt change ur current rates.

yes it is... remote leech as well if you put your login credentials to the remote file host...

It`s not only 27 and 28, it`s 27,28,29 and today 30. No downloads at all.
And the thing that make me wounder is that why I have 2 sales but only 1 download after each.
After each sale I generally have lots of downloads (see my screenshoot), since my website has lots of content. I think something is really wrong.
I will try downloading one of my file from a different computer and see what happens.

in just 5 days that we have payment processors we have come back to 35% so it is ok... soon we will be like end of June and July will be just a bad memory...

I hope to receive money soon to pay pending payout requests and servers and at the end of august leave filemates clean from July's loss and start its profitable growth again
