For Information : This host has been banned at in in 2 forums on 2025 January
The admin of one of these forums tried to communicate with Filefactory to inform them and explain what they should do to remove the ban but he did no receive any acknowledge/answer from the support

They will refund us for sure If they are down permamently...
If they are down permamently...FileFactory lasted for nearly two decades.
Their first snapshot on Archive.org dates back to October 2005:
If they had lasted just two more months, they would have reached their 20th anniversary.
This means that FileFactory was one of the oldest file hosting platforms, sharing the podium with MediaFire and 4shared as well.
If this is indeed the end, RIP.
They haven’t paid anything in recent years anyway for affiliates, so it’s not a huge loss.

Is there any precedent for this? Meaning FF being down for a few days and then coming back? Doesnt remember anything like this...

FF is back, but it is impossible to sign in. Getting "The email address or password you entered was incorrect" error. What is your experience?

Thanks for getting in touch! I wanted to let you know that we're dealing with some technical hiccups right now that our team is working hard to sort out. We had to launch our updated site a bit earlier than we'd planned, which has left a few things not quite working as they should.
The good news is we're on it and hoping to have everything running smoothly again with our next update. I really appreciate you bearing with us while we iron out these kinks.
If you're still running into trouble after 24 hours, just give me a shout and I'll make sure we get it sorted for you.

Same for me : impossible to connect on filefactory.com
So I asked for a new password and I landed on the new version : new.filefactory.com where I was able to connect
But this new version is not yet totally ready (for instance my Chinese/Japanese characters are not visible)
I did not yet try to upload/download a file
