That would depend on which altcoin you are using.

Many hosting companies now offer 'obscure' payment methods such as Bitcoin. It is fairly easy to create an account on an exchange and convert your altcoin to the more popular Bitcoin.

QHoster for example allows Bitcoin and Litecoin payments.
