We don't charge any transaction fee, it might be conversions how it was said on the forum, or PayPal's fee.

It's a very strange thing. My payments from Bullet also had these fees, however my payments from Crocko, Wupload, Fileserve and Filesonic didn't have them.

Might be a good idea to ask Paypall what this is about

Edit : just had a look at the Paypal website.

Can it be that the payment was done with a credit card, not your paypal balance ?

If they consider it as a personal transfer, it should be free if you use your balance (I think, their site could be more clear about it)

Thank you

day of payment are not 10 and 25?
Yes, you're right, but we paid some of our top sellers for letting you know that we are serious.
I didn't read that.
So, I have to request payout on 9th or 24th or you make payments automatically for the amount I have in my account on that date?

Japan is now in Tier B . Enjoy!

It would be nice if you request your money with some days before, so we can process your payment in time.

When FTP is coming and it will be allowed to use with free account ? or ftp upload already you have but need a premium upgrade ?

Free users have only 100 GB space thats it ? :O

Excellent to hear you're working on the "file only available for premium members" feature, good job !

I'll give another GOOD mid-term suggestion. GOOD because I know it's been generating for me, with another host, in average one sale per day on a full year period : discount coupons.
- Not the reseller idea, not coupons we'd create one by one to sell them at the price of our choice, no.
A code allowing to pay a cheaper price for a membership, and the uploaders sharing fiberupload links could also share this coupon code.
- Not a big discount, not necessarily, for instance minus 10%.
- And that would only apply on long durations, six months and one year.
- Pros : much bigger invitation to join as premium, giving that idea to the lurkers from the very beginning.
- Cons : the idea would only be practical after some time, when the lurkers have become habituated to seeing fiberupload links and have come to trust that host (I don't think anybody will be willing to pay a yearly membership, even with a 10% discount, if the file host is brand new. This is a mid-term idea, just to keep in mind and apply in six months)

You are right about new brands, also I like very much your idea with coupons. I will write it in our To Do list.
Thank you

Probably Fiberupload IS NOT using mass payments. Uploader pays no fee even with a premier or business account if the hoster uses masspay, fiberupload then pays the fee as all other hoster that pay via paypal do.

There is no fee like that for currency conversion either, not in paypal, not in alertpay.

Either Fiverupload is doing manual, not mass payment which then transfer the fee to the uploader is he/she has premier account or indeed the payment is backed with a credit card and not via balance.

EXCELLENT move putting Japan in group B.

Hehe, think you have been working with the same filehost as I did :D

Discount coupons works very well, but there is one condition : give everyone the same discount.

The site I worked with did not. The result was that I stopped posting on a famous forum (at least famous in my language) because some others could offer higher discounts as me. And to make things even worse, the guy from JDownloader had (and still has) discount coupons of 35%, so nobody bought something from me X-(

Another suggestion : try to implement torrent download. I believe the script you use has some optional beta functionality in it, but for the real stuff you should talk with the guys of bulldozer project. I use it for a while now and it really rocks !
