Facebook Fan pages

Hi guys,
What kind of success are people getting using large Facebook Fan Pages? Are you using the sites to transfer your traffic to a blog, or do you have any other methods?

People use their Fan pages for many Reasons, Firstly that you mentioned, That they transfer traffic to their blog and Earn from adsense or some PPC programs

Secondly, they try to advertise their products and make them sell from their Fan pages, its more easier to do

Thirdly, they create Facebook applications and Put ads on them to Earn some bucks-

Nah, I tend to disagree with "sell products from their Fan pages". More and more people who did so in the past lost their publishing rights recently (as in = lost their site). Only exception is if you own the copyrights of a brand which is subject of the site. Be very careful and always keep up to date with the latest rules and regulations or you will lose your site before you can scream.

Indirect advertising is the key. Which obviously means that you need 500k fans in order to make the same earnings that a 50k fansite could generate in the past.
