Does the member "slient" Upload for your site?

I'm sick of this guy. He has about 20-30 files on a server and just keeps remote uploading the same stuff over and over again to filesonic and ONLY filesonic.

The problem is as he's using the same uploads over and over again and some of the serial he has included for his apps and games no longer work yet he's still remote uploading them and webmasters are still submitting them.

I'm banning every site on MechoDDL that submits his topics. PM me if your a webmaster and have any further questions. I'm not sure how I'm going to remove his topics from the DB yet. Either I remove all submits from affected sites (which is a bit harsh) or somehow remove just his.

Sorry, but what's wrong with that? Why can't we upload & upload the same content daily? I mean, no offense mate, but I kinda don't understand you.

Some of them don't work yet they are still being submitted.

This has been blown completely out of proportion. When did more mirrors ever hurt? lol
Take care of it yourself, and leave it at that. No reason to make a scene.

Disclaimer: This isn't aimed directly at Mr Happy. Just a general statement.

I see a lot of windows uploads = a lot of links = a lot of money...
Maybe he doesn't even noticed that the key stopped working.

hey its hard for webmasters to remember daily what they submit.
you should implement some kind of a plugin so the same title won't be accepted in your ddl for a week or more.

i think katz has that.

Not really. He's uploading the 'same' thing, over and over again, on the 'same' filehost. If one gets taken down, there's a high probability every other link will be. Mirrors like that are seldom beneficial. Actually, not worth the while at all. Mr Happy has a point.

Nothing's being blown out of proportion. The concern over the issue is perfectly legitimate.
 
A lot of people do that. Keep the server full with files and apply to various sites as an uploader.

Well for me personally, if i had a warez forum i would just censor the word "filesonic", as its the dumbest, unfriendliest, money hungry file host around.
 
Thanks for the heads up Mr. H he is not on my forum but since he only uploads to FSO then he won't be since we don't allow those links but like I said thanks for the warning about it (y)

I am lucky I don't hire uploaders like him.
Cashwhoring has started to become a serious problem.
I've seen the katz link in 1st post. Basically at least first 5 pages are same content over and over again.
