Do I need to resubmit my sitemap on google webmaster tools every time i post a new thread ??

You never need to submit anything anywhere if you've your site set up right with a robots.txt file.

Check out this tutorial I made almost two years ago. It's still the best way to do it.

No read the link I posted. If you have your sitemap in the robots.txt file that's the fastest way of Google Finding a sitemap. If you manually submit a sitemap it takes way longer.

Do you have your sitemap link in your robots.txt file? I bet you don't. Manually submitting something is way slower.

if u are using wordpress , use plugin google sitemap, this will ping to google once u created a post

Mr. Happy, that tutorial you posted. I added XML Sitemap plugin and it automatically added

Sitemap: http://tvdownload.info/sitemap.xml.gz

to my robots.txt.

Is this ok or should I remove the .gz?

Sitemaps are very important with regard to Search Engine as it can help website in showing it as organised and also enables easy navigation for the bots.
They are of two types
HTML and
XML.
