Google Do I have to ping daily to index my blog on Google?

I am a new comer and i want to ask that..
do i uhave to ping my blog daily?
do i have to index my blog daily?
how can i see the results of pinging and indexing my blog as mostly i have traffic from facebook.

if your blog is update the content every day that is good you ping if not then no need ust ping if you has been update the content
