I have been following this thread since the start.

It quite clear someone is playing games with them :facepalm: when the client base goes up someone deletes the HD.

That's quite normal with warez hosts competing with each other, its funny I don't think the host realises whats going on but at least he hasn't stopped the service and run like 99% of hosts do :)
 
i talked with him in the morning, but yeah this is weird ...

i guess he ran away, usually when there is a problem he come online fast

Daring, its none of my business to get involved in this topic but if your HDDs were wiped because of a DMCA notice, then i think you should move your server from worldstream ASAP.
 
The hard drives were not wiped because of DMCA.
I got DMCA's from worldstream a few weeks ago. They emailed them to me, and gave me 24 hours to take of the files. This is what every normal datacenter would do.
Worldstream is not the "devil" datacenter despite what everyone thinks.
 
cPanel is installed.
All data is being transferred back now.

Some sites are back online. If yours is not that means that your data has not transferred yet.
 
Alright everyone, I want this known.

We (DaringHost) aren't going ANYWHERE. We now have a backup system that runs every night so there won't be any data loss as long as those drives don't get corrupted. I'll also work on getting the backups that are made emailed out to a server that is no way connected to the servers on WorldStream. As of right now, we we going through a tough time and dealing with some problems that take up most of our time. I personally can assure you that I'm doing what I can to figure out why we keep getting wiped and what's going on.

What I CAN tell you:
1. We are NOT going anywhere. We haven't run and we won't run at any point.
2. We will NOT talk in circles when it comes to your hard word and dedication to our services.
3. We WILL actively keep you up to date on the happenings with our servers and what not.
4. We WILL do our best to give you the BEST hosting you've had despite the state of things.

We know that as a company we've lost some of your trust, but we hope within the next coming weeks to gain it back. We've gone through a few back up systems and have finally found one that works.

I (Zaertix) still offer my backup scripts that will be emailed out to you DIRECTLY, if you so choose. Please make a ticket if that sounds good to you!

To end all of this, I want to say this.

I personally appreciate every one of you that sticks around through every thing.

To those who leave.... I say this in all sincerity, you'll be back...... And I'll still be here to welcome you.
