could anyone help installing joomla 1.6 on my domain?

can anyone help me in installing joomla 1.6 on my domain (forumville.net) hosted on knowinservers , tried installing through webinstall, unable to point out to index.php for installation.

upload everything in your route an just go in your browser on forumville.net and follow installation notes

or go in cpanel and install it with fantastico

i see you have joomla 1.5 installed on your site

go here and read how to upgrade joomla 1.5 to 1.6 :

make shure you have last version of joomla 1.5 its joomla 1.5.22 if i am not wrong

if fresh install, then delete all in root folder, then upload joomla 1.6 package, unzip it, run install from installation folder. Check if all settings are corresponding joomla needs. run install, delete or rename install folder. and you are done.
