Copyright takedown on RAR encrypted files

I wanted to discuss about this.

I've had some files that were RAR passworded, with filenames encrypted and no reference at all to the contents (random archive names).

Still managed to have links taken down on Mega and Google Drive.

How can filehosts takedown files which they cannot verify? Is this common?

Someone reported the files. You post at some from example its some movie, including the password bellow.

Thats how they delete them. If its on RG there is an menu Complaints..
