I'm pretty sure you can't. You used to be able to but their were issues with MrPeanut420 selling his and his avatar space and it wasn't allowed after that. elj was quiet adamant that you couldn't but now the admins have changed so the rules may have changed but on last discussion you weren't allowed. I remember as I sold my sig space for charity previously.
