Consider yourself lucky, for receiving a PayPal payment.
"Alex" has been unable to pay me since last summer, each month he tells me that next month he will pay me.
I've been told by multiple sources in recent weeks that "Alex" is attempting to sell ByteWhale; this leads me to believe that there are serious cash flow problems and that once again he doesn't really know what he is doing. I mean, anyone can just run the XFileSharingPro script and think they're going to be a Kim Dotcom...
Just in case anyone missed what I said in a previous post in this thread: This guy is the same exact guy as the defunkt file host "bl.st". He has been banned from this community before and before long will find himself banned again.....

Would you mind telling us who are your sources. Who told you that he is trying to sell his site? I also recieved my payments everytime(since last december till last monday), but recently its delayed all the time and he holds back two weeks payment instead of one like before.

Received Paypal payment too and i too have been paid every single time...seems like the most of us, if not all, have been paid, except for Peter...hmm...i wonder why.. 
I think it's fair to say I only see one complaint so far and despite a few delays payment has always been received. So bytewhale seems ok in my opinion. I mean Alex has a life too, so it's only reasonable that sometimes things may not always go as planned. Every business will have ups and downs, so why should a filehost be any different.

I'd rather not reveal my specific sources at this time, but it has been a mixture of other file host owner(s) and administrator(s) of this site.

You are absolutely correct, businesses have ups and downs. But when a business is not able to pay its bills for 4+ months in a row, then clearly the issue is not just simply run of the mill ups and downs; rather a business with a serious cash flow problem.

Because people who get paid via PayPal are receiving small payments (Ie less than 1,000). He is able to pay the smaller affiliates with the money that he is refusing to pay the affiliates that form the backbone of his file host. When the file host can't pay its strongest affiliates they pull out and the house of cards collapses.
Feel free to look at my old posts to see my experience with this. In past years I've called the collapse of several file hosts just before they came down. This one is no different.

Peter South I totally understand your logic, guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. At the end of the day, there is an old saying "if it's not broken don't fix it" and with that said I do believe the people who is satisfied with bytewhale will continue to use it until it "goes down" or "if it goes down". That's just how life is, you just gotta do what's best for you.

Well, if any affiliates are still uploading to this file host maybe it would be a good idea to mirror links as the probability of this file host going kaput are extremely high

Ah, very nice... I'm waiting for my payment since November 25th, I see how they are paying to everyone, but not to me! (just a very little partial payment in the past week).
No motivation to continue... Sadly for me (because I like Byte Whale), but I'm thinking in delete all my premium files if there is not a soon solution.

Alex owns me over 2K, he promised some update for this monday, but somehow he forgot it and of course ignores my messages.
He sent me this message last thursday:
"Please be advised that we have a serious issue with the gateway, and they do not deliver our funds as agreed.We have sent you today the amount of $497 from our working balance, I will update you again on Monday as we should get the funds cleared on Monday.
Please for now I advise, NOT to use byte whale, the future of the gateway at this point isn't clear.
Payments will flow as we get more funds cleared."

I've been waiting since the summer for a payment, haven't even received a partial payment. A while back I deleted 1.4 million files off of this host.
He's been given until the 28th to settle outstanding debts with me, if he doesn't I'm fairly certain he will be banned (again) from WJunction.
We all know how this story goes....

Delete your files now and affiliate with a better host (Keep2Share is great)

If you scroll up in the thread you'll see my Skype chat logs showing how he has been stringing me along since the summer.
This guy formerly ran the defunct file host "bl.st" which was also banned from WJunction for pulling the same shit.
