I wouldn't say end, There could have been back wholes left from the first attempt after even being hacked once there is still always after math to clean up,

If i was you guys i would but whmcs in test mode and HALT all orders for the time being.

Then start over viewing who ever has access to the servers.

Not all the VPS's were effected, only a big chunk, I don't have an exact announcement until the morning when rk contacts me :(

I'm not even 100% sure of what happened.. Not the answer you guy's want, but there's nothing I can say :(
 
You shouldn't be so angry... This is what happens with small budget company, 1 professional hacker takes teams of people to stop...

Plus, WHMCS and solusVM is shit software so that doesn't help either.
 
So those who survived are safe for now? I mean my VPS is working fine for now... I am in process of making a backup on another VPS. I see VPS panel is down, did you guys do that to stop the hacker from more damage? Those of you who survived this attack, please make a backup. Those who got wiped, I feel sorry for you guys :(.
 
Honestly Zak, I dont think I even care about the why. I just would like my refund and move on. 3 breakins in 2 weeks is more than I can handle. I really tried to give u a chance guys.
 
Wow, finally i'm lucky this time.

My VPS is fine but boxslots has been hacked again and for the third time...
I want to react about this, really guys, you are loosing a lot of customers, read some simple advices (cc @DLow), protect a maximum your software and your script engine.

I know that you are enduring a bad period, 2 crazy weeks for the support to re-install your system/vps and to reply to tickets.
Everything were fine and you got hacked again, i think that a hacker team wants to take you down, like they did for rapidspeeds and i guess you are not the only one on the list.

So, a message to the Boxslot staff : Keep doing your good job, don't close and don't listen the morons who are talking about you, you have some troubles but everything will be fine (i hope) in a couple of days.

:) Gotta love what they are offering. I have tested 2 different VPS from 2 different companies here on Wjunction :facepalm: . And for some reason my stuff performs faster on Boxslots and speed is awesome as well.

Other than these hack and wipe off problem, I am satisfied with them =). Though this time my VPS survived 8-). I feel bad for those who lost their stuff again :'(. There is nothing I can do or say to change the way others are feeling. Hopefully Boxslots will take care of those who lost it again.

As a backup I just purchased a cheap $9 VPS from FDC to backup my files. Just in case if this happens again. After all Backup is our responsibility, they don't promise for any backups. However what ever is happening with all the hack and wipe off ... all that shouldn't happen.
 
LOL as I said before you guys have been marked by cracker. Thats the truth, my hunch hit the mark and I am glad I already left.

Well anyway good luck for BS Staff and also for the customers. You could always give them another chance :D
 
you seriously are promoting your services in this thread? :facepalm:

and your VPS services have uplink capped max speed 60Mbit/s on most expensive plan :facepalm::facepalm:

i would take shared 1gbit for sure, as much as i have used dfferent vps providers with shared 1gbit - i always get decent speed 100Mbit+

despite that, imo its not very moral to promote your services in other provider thread

This email is intended to inform you about the security of your account.

I immediately checked for ssh and vnc access but ........ wasn't there. So I went to shut down the server and while I was about to press the shutdown button , I noticed that I already had a new os (centos instead of Ubuntu). I raised a ticket informing them about the new breach since the live chat was offfline. While I was in the process of changing my solusvm password , the server went down for maintenance.
What can I say ... At least, Zack had the guts to turn up here and promised that he will look into the situation. I am confident in them. Always have been , because at the end of the day they were coming through for the customer. thank god I had backed up everything. The real pain is reinstalling everything !!!! we'll see how it goes this time.

As Zack said we will be back on track soon actually honestly rickie got some family obligations thats why we are doing our hard to contact him so that can update you here . Am really sorry for another mistake but all refunds and compension will be taken care when rickie is back so please wait till then . Hope you understand .
