Can I ask how are most of my files are abused? unless uploading 100gb files in a day is abusive? I haven't even posted links to 50% of my files to the public yet so I don't know how they are abused?
 
Hi, I'm using the latest filezilla to upload to ftp2.bitshare.com and it connects correctly and uploads but the file just sits there and never shows up under ftp uploads. Anyone know whats wrong? I have tried enabling the auto transfer but it doesn't make a difference.

I am guessing that he's ignoring you because you need people to download what you upload to be eligible for free upgrade to premium. Just uploading is not enough.

Or maybe whatever English translator you were using was a little too weird for most of us to understand. Use a better translator :D Come to think of it, I wonder what Chinese word you typed that resulted in the translator choosing the word "vector" in your sentence. lol

No, we never disabled any account. But we get more and more abuse, if users continue uploading removed files, we will get problems.

You need to transfer it or set to the settings to transfer files automaticly.

I will only update active members, how to be acive is stated in first post. :)
 
Talk about removed files... when a file is removed, the file no longer shown in our file manager?

I just noticed a dozen files (or more) cannot be download but the files are still listed in my file manager. I'd rather the system deletes the files so that I know what files are missing. Some work need to be done here.

Oh. I just deleted those non-existent files from the file manager.

If I find anymore of these files, I'll pm you the links. I am kinda worried because these files I only uploaded them about 1 month ago and already they are gone.
 
uploading problem with browser upload, when uploading progress to 100%,then the tragedy happened, failed to upload files many times today, pls check your system, thx.

Another user reported missing Bitshare links. I tested those reported links and they really were not downloadable as they show the Bitshare upload page instead. Several hours later I retested those links they also gave me the upload page instead. To make sure the links are offline, I used JDownloader to verify. JDownloader reported they were all online but when I tell it to download, some of the files are not downloadable.

The weird thing continues, this time with Internet Download Manager to download. IDM reported some of the links "Not Found" but I downloaded them anyways. In the end all the files were able to download and I verified the MD5/CRC32 to be authentic. Here are the reported file links:

Just now, after downloading all of the above files, I retested the links with both JDownloader and IDM. Both programs reported the links online. I also tried downloading with Firefox, the links are now downloadable.

It seems their online/offline status is intermittent.

I suspect those previous files that were reported missing that I deleted from file manager were in fact online, just that at that time they were offline probably because Bitshare was performing maintenance or something. OR there are bugs with Bitshare server....
