I've stop using chrome as it consumes too much resources, switched to opera, it has a battery saver and vpn extension. Works like a charm.

I'm more of a Firefox user, I don't feel safe using Google Chrome, I feel like Firefox gives more privacy and I think that Google Chrome consumes more memory than it should be. - Firefox Quantum is the way to go.
