I know its not a DDoS mitigation solution ( that will cost you loads of $$$) but cloudflare's threat control center helps in blocking IPs very easily.

If a site in under heavy DDoS and if the attacker is persistent, the only way to stop is to go behind a hardware firewall (or you can just wait it out).

Wow. That looks great. Is it in free plan included?

Anyway, today was another attack. This time over 1000 IPs. Thankfully, Krunix optimized it very well so site was down only like for 10 minutes.

Yes, Threat Control is included for all accounts free of charge.

Interesting... I went through secure log and found this:

Dec 25 00:03:41 localhost pure-ftpd: ([EMAIL="?@208.77.102.64"]?@208.77.102.64[/EMAIL]) [WARNING] Authentication failed for user [Administrator]

It was there multiple times. When I checked IP, it belongs to rapidvps.com. Anyone know who they are?

Just blacklist it and report to them
