.biz domains are usually used by businesses but domains are only worth something when they have either an high PR or a lot of traffic etc.

of course they are just like any other domain.. if you want to make a lot of money off it then you need to get a high pr on it or get a name you think will become a good product of a big company then they will pay you for it.
