csf and lfd lol is the way to go easy to install opensource and free and really nice config setttings it handled a 11 k botnet attack with apache and my site didnt go down once

But it needs SSH, and does it block sql injections as FWS do?

FWS need script as low as shared host to run and don't required ssh or installation, just can be edited by its admin panel.

FWS fit who has shared host.

even when i had a shared host they gave me ssh to a certain point =P and sql is by bad code not scripts and whatnot it can prevent certain commands and what from being executed like null etc but youll never had 100 percent protection from it :P so that script is a fail

I know a forum that was using that script and they were still able to get hacked lol. I think having that script and the link displayed in the footer of the site is just an invitation for hackers to try and hack it.
