And for the person who asked why Wbb doesn't ask for donations, it's simple....they have financial investors, hence none of the staff pay out of their pocket and I think the admins get a monthly stipend as well (not entirely sure about the last part though).

You open a forum to form a community with other members, when over a period of time the site becomes huge and it begins to fill up with leechers who contribute nothing to the community, while you continue paying the bills out of your pocket, you come to realize that the site is just a liability more than an asset or even a hobby. if the costs become so great that it's becoming a burden on your personal finances, you try new avenues to level out expenses. In the case of AmaderForum, he asks for donations, other sites slap on 10 popup ads on every page load or CPA surveys.

So a redirection to a topic, is not that big in all honesty. If you don't agree with his methods, simply do not visit the site anymore, no need to cause a whole comotion because of it....
