AI search and guide traffic

AI answers are taking more space before normal search results.

For guide content, this could matter a lot. DNS, domains, SSL, email setup, hosting docs.... all easy for AI to summarize.

Are people already thinking about GEO, or still focused only on classic SEO?

Good question. From what I see day to day, most people I talk to are still mostly focused on classic SEO, GEO is more of a "we know we should look into it" thing than an actual strategy yet. Makes sense for straightforward guide content though, if AI can summarize it directly people may never click through.

That sounds about right. The basic guide pages are probably the first ones to lose clicks. If the page only answers "what is DNS" or "what is SSL", AI can do that fast.
