I've been using adsterra banner ad in my site for a year now and users complaining about a mobile redirect and unable to use my site keeps happening. I think adsterra is cheating on me since I opted to only putting one banner ad on the site for better user experience but if this still happens then it kills the purpose. I also suspect that the slow growth of my site can be partially blamed to adsterra hijacking their banner ad to earn from redirects. The only reason I've used them so far is because they basically ignore DMCA complaints which I once had an issue with from JuicyAds before.

I'd love to hear any better alternative ad networks for banner ads so I can ditch Adsterra for good.

i had the same problem with adsterra, so its usual and not unusual, because advertisers didnt get manual checked for native banner and normal banner i guess, didnt know how that else could happen.
Popunder and Social Bar is ok, but Banner/Native Banner is "shit".

I was both a publisher and an advertiser on Adsterra. (Both because I'm an idiot)

As a publisher - Adsterra turns a site into unpopular garbage that no one wants to visit. It will also eventually get your sites flagged as malicious.

As an advertiser - You'll get bots, useless 3rd world and scammers who will try to steal from you. You won't earn any money but will probably lose money.

My personal experience is that everyone should avoid Adsterra

yeah, their reputation is a bit tarnished.
sometimes their banner ads redirects to other websites.

what do you use right now or recommend now as publisher?

I solved the problem of Adsterra redirecting of both Pop up and banner ads by adspyglass.com . Here is the trick adspyglass will give you their pop up ads code or banner ads code after linking adsterra account with them. You just put adspyglass pop up code or banner code in your website then adspyglass code will show adsterra ads in your website and will not allow adsterra to redirect other website.

So then what? The antivirus programs doesnt alert when they see the ads? if so that would be the best!
