Addon Domain Redirect Issuse

Hi guys,

I have registered two domains i.e

• domainone.com
• domaintwo.com and bought a hosting account along with it.

My primary domain along with hosting cpanel url is domainone.com/cpanel and it works fine when i enter the domainone.com in address bar it loads fine. and i have added the

domaintwo.com as my addon domain in cpanel and url path is public_html/domaintwo.com

So the issue is when i enter the domaintwo.com in address bar i get the following url shown

domainone.com/domiantwo.com/. but actually it need to show as domaintwo.com

is there any way i can solve this issue

Check the .htaccess file in root folder of domainone.com rewrite rules could have causing the problem.

The best option here should be change document root of the addon domain.

Move your domaintwo.com folder from the
/home/user/public_html TO

/home/user/

Go to the cPanel >>Addon domains >>edit document root for addon domain and set

/home/user/domaintwo.com

Isolating the document roots of each domain is going to help here. .htaccess rules from parent domain are causing the issues.

Looks like your addon domain is not configured correctly. Try to removed and steup domain again. Before placing all domain data , setup phpinfo page and make sure its working with domaintwo.com
