Come back after a break of many years ... I worked in the past with filesonic, hotfile, etc.
I know how this works, but I would like to ask you .. is it possible that today you can earn $2000-3000 per month?

You cant earn 3k$ with PPD. You must have your own site with thousands of visits, but every PPD site count 1 download per IP, so if user download 10 files, it will be counted as 1, so you must have really a lot of visits.

Also there are only few forums/sites alive from hotfile era, so you can forget about making 3000$ from PPD. Another option is PPS, best would be to have your own site, use 1 link (no mirror) and unique content.

So you need to about $70 per day to pass $2000 a month, so you'll need 17,000 + unique DLs. This is all PPD hosts, if you can get sales go with PPS, might be better.
