Yeah I need to ask them about it, since there is no other way of inserting data. The same with the insert of the mirrors, it takes several seconds.
You mean that I can see in phpsysadmin specific script info?
Couldn't see anything when I looked :/
I did, here:
http://www.gaddons****/phpsysinfo/
Though I am not sure what to do with that info.
My current host actually sent me this info:
http://pastebin.com/5LArTQj7
:D
So now I at least know which queries are "slow" :)
Yeah and my current host (the one I had before I tried to move to paid hosting) doesn't have load monitoring built into cPanel.
Though I was wondering about one thing, since I have access to phpMyAdmin I can check the Status tab of the server, but since I am on shared, I guess the stats there...
Well the reason for me not using a Google like cluster to drive my website is the same as for probably the most of you: I don't have the money.
If I had 20$ each month that in the end just would end up in a drawer, I would have a VPS. But I don't. I recently upgraded to paid, shared hosting. If...
Okay the site is a index site, indexing mirrors for files. It's nothing with torrents, just files. For example the home page grabs 50 of the files in the db and lists them, then when the user clicks one of them, the scripts grabs all the mirrors that are related to that file (normally around 3)...
Yeah I think mysql is the load boss. The host sent me a picture of the load meter when it was at 40%, but on that picture I also saw a tab that said mysql. Since I no longer have a running website no data is generated, but he really should have sent me that data as well too directly see if mysql...
I promise you that I haven't any weird things running, no rapidleech or torrent. Basically just lots of mysql queries. Everything else are by mistake/errors.
My website was hosted by a free host for 2 months without complaints, then I moved to a new paid host, and it got shutdown after some hours because it created a 40% load on their Xenon 8 core CPUs?!
Though they say they will take a look at it too see if they can correct anything that is...
I thought I could review the service that I've used/gotten so far :)
I decided for the Budget plan (to start with, so I can upgrade later), and it was instant setup after I had registered and paid (I love that I can pay month by month and not lock me up for a year or so).
The cPanel that comes...
Sounds great. No matter what, I need better hosting. What's the rules about changing price plans up/down?
If I change my mind, can I go down to the budget plan at any time? Also, for how long would I get these prices if I signed up now?
Last two questions (for now):
Can I host a free domain...
You weren't kidding when you said the prices won't last long, right? The unlimited plan is 2.99£ on your website?
Have I missed a coupon code?
Also, what's the catch? :P
I am running a small website (~300 daily visitors) on a free host at the moment, using cyberlockers as my storage of...
They do offer some good features, though I checked their forum and besides that they have very strict activity requirements (1 log in to account panel/month) there's also a lot of users having problems it seems :/
Site info:
Age: 1 month
Average # visitors/day: 80, peaked at 100
Average page generation time (where the mysql stuff is done): 0,1 sec
It is currently hosted for free at heliohost. Great hosting except for one thing: I think they only allow 1 simultaneous connection to the mysql db. So I am...
