Q: What is the file inactivity retention period?
A:
• Free users: Inactive files (0 views) are kept for 60 days before auto-cleanup.
• Premium users: Files are retained indefinitely as long as your subscription is active.

Q: What is the maximum file upload size?
A: You can upload files up to 1 GB per video (via Web Upload, Remote Upload, or Torrent Mirroring) in Free mode. Premium users can upload single files of several GB.

Q: What is the maximum storage allocation?
A: You can upload files up to 100 GB of content (via Web Upload, Remote Upload, or Torrent Mirroring) in Free mode. Premium users have no limits.

Q: Can I customize player settings?
A: Yes! From your dashboard, you can:
• Restrict video embeds to your specific domain names (Prevent iframe hotlinking).
• Hide/Show the direct download button for viewers.
• Toggle Anti-AdBlock enforcement.
• (Coming soon) Enable subtitle burning (SRT) directly onto encoded streams.
• (Coming soon) Player customization (colors, etc.) will be rolled up in the next update.

Q: How does Remote Upload & Torrent Mirroring work?
A: Remote upload works directly via HTTP/HTTPS links. Torrent ingestion is fully automated: paste the magnet link or torrent file, and encoding starts as soon as downloading completes.

Q: How are payouts processed?
A: Payouts are checked and processed daily with a low threshold of $10. We currently support BSC tokens (USDC / USDT / BNB) for fast and low-fees transactions.

Is it possible to make the videos work immediately after uploading?

The videos have to get HLS encoded first, it's unfortunately not possible (like on any other video hosting platform).

Regarding the missing play button in the center of the player + an option to disable the titles embedding in the player, I write it down, it will be fixed in the next rolling update tomorrow.

Your rates is bad my friend no one will work for that Rates, And Egypt even not on tier 4 , please change the rates it's for your website benefits

It’s best to strike a balance; there’s no point in setting very high rates and having an excessive number of ads, where no one can watch even a single video without being bombarded by endless advertisements.
 
I think all the videos on my account can't be played, just a black screen, and can you make a big play button in the middle like YouTube so it doesn't confuse the audience?

1. Please add thumbnail url response ( thumbnail url image)

2. Add pagination ( per_page dan page) and add total_pages response

I need an API like that for my Web

Noted.
I provided low rates at launch only because of the ad networks, that are providing a low CPM: it is tough to pay $33/10k (tier 1) if the ad network pays $2/10k (tier 1).

However, since it is an important aspect for most uploaders, and to enhance the traffic, I will align the rates on mainstream uploaders for the first month, and check if the ad networks change their CPM rates with volume.

Rates will be updated today, I'll notify with a message in the thread.

  • For the first point, videos have to be encoded first before being played (that's why you can't play it straight after the upload is completed), it generally takes a few minutes. On our side, your video can be played smoothly.
  • The big play button in the middle of the video will be added today for the next rolling update.
  • Regarding the API :
    • Thumbnail url response ( thumbnail url image) with API will be added too.
    • per_page / total_pages API requests will be added too.

Most of the aspects above should be sorted out today. Stay tuned.

It generally occurs either when you try to upload a too big video (above 1 GB, that is not permitted for Free users), or that the format is invalid. When the server estimates the disk space needed for all chunks and detects that the file will exceeds the 1 GB limit (free quota), the backend rejects the request with a 403 status to refuse the save operation.

Regarding your situation, it's either because the file is too big, or because your file is corrupted/invalid/in a wrong format. Perform a hard refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R) and try again with another file.

We heard your feedback regarding CPM rates! We've just updated our Tier structure across the board — Tier 1 is now boosted to $3.30/1k ($33/10k), Tier 2 to $2.20/1k, and all other worldwide traffic gets a solid $0.50/1k baseline. All the new rates are now updated and available here.

Embed Player Improvements
  • Central Play Button: Added a prominent play button right in the center of the player when paused or on load.
  • Improved Pause Overlay: Pausing the video no longer resets to the splash image — it now stays paused directly on the current video frame. The thumbnail is now only displayed at the beginning, when the video loads.
  • Video Title Hidden: Disabled the video file name within the embeds.
  • Mouse Hidden While Playing: The cursor in now hidden at the same time the video controls get hidden while the user is watching an embed video.

API v1 Updates
  • Pagination Added: The /file/list endpoint now supports page and per_page parameters (up to 200 items per page), along with total_pages and results_total in the response.
  • Direct Thumbnail URLs: Returned file objects now include a splash_img field linking directly to the video poster image.

FAQ
  • Will new rates only be assigned to mainstream uploaders or on adult content as well?
    New rates applies on both uploaders types, Videro treats all uploaders equally.

Thanks for the feedback.

Due to the high volume of new uploaders joining Videro, our queue experienced a sudden peak with thousands of videos processing simultaneously, which slowed down the encoding times.

To fix this, we are adjusting our encoding pipeline:
  • Lighter/smaller videos will now get priority encoding for instant availability.
  • We are scaling up our encoding servers to absorb peak traffic more smoothly.
Processing speeds should normalize shortly (that should get reflected on queued within the next hours).
