Rapidshare Cheating .

Okay , this is the 4th time i face this so i wanted to make it puplic
ppl pms me and say you rapidshare link is dead , and when i check the link with any linkchecker script it shows dead
but after i clicked on the link i see :

file works file with premium users , but if you aren't on rapid pro it shows dead .

2nd , you shouldn't read minds you should think (i mean use your mind) if it works fine will free and premiums why would i make this topic ?
 
Stop arguing and derailing the topic @NightMare and Messiah.

And yes you are both right at some point just leave it at that before it becomes a bigger fight.

But it sucks for people who aren't using rapid pro.
 
That just means the link checker has not been updated.

Rapidshare is actually one of the only legitimate file-upload websites.
 
He means to say that the file is only available for premium users and not for free users .... IF the file is deleted under DMCA, then why is it available for premium users ??
That is what he is trying to say if i am not wrong .....
 
RS was always acting like that, why u surprised? LOL

Right now, you are uploading single links to them (700+MB)
Once they think they get enough large content, hey will return 200MB limit for free user, and then you'll see who RS is.

Rapidshare doesn't give you money for uploading.
They keep it only to themselves.

Which means, if you are content owner, and You have something that you want to profit from, rapidshare is not the service you want to use.

For example, you have a band, you promote your videos on Youtube, and put your link of demo song in description section.
 
well , i think i won't agree for that
in this month rapidshare gave me about 24k rapids
and i sold and got money , so they give money by third paty or whatever you call it .

They are giving you ability to extend your account, which you can use/transfer on another account, different, but same thing you could do with points from downloads, 2 years ago. They are doing it on purpose, in indirect way, so haters can say how RS doesn't give uploaders incentive. Ofc they know same thing will happen like it did 2 years ago. :)
They want to stay on 'whitelist', by doing it less obvious.
Do you think they don't have their informers everywhere? lol
They collect informations, and based on that, they create new ways to stay in business.
It's just not many people actually see that.

They know more ways to make you purchase premium, than all other file-hosts together.
They are pro's, they know exactly what they are doing.
