[TuT][Photoshop] Reflection

In this tutorial you will learn how to make reflections in Photoshop.
Let's start. First make a text.

Then press Control + J.

Click this:

Now click edit>transform>vertical
And put it here:

Now select the Gradient Tool with this options:

Do this with the Gradient Tool:

Set the opacity to 50%

Final Image Will Look Something like this depends on wht gradient color u use and wht font

good simple tut man :D .. as i was told when i first started.. actually by someone on here,with reflections u should take a light brush and erase a bit off the top of the font of the reflection.. i see u kinda went for tht,but it should be even all the way across.. or one side or the other depending on light source

Use a layer mask for the reflection instead.
Its more effective.

You selected the wrong gradient. You are suppose to select white to transparent and then you do it. =]

No he got it right since he added the layer mask but my gradient is black first then white, nice tut (y)
