Make Googlebot Index my private forum sections?

I have a section in my forum which I want to make private (just for members) but I get most of my search engine traffic through this section, I was wondering if there was a way to make the section private just for members but still make googlebot,etc index the threads even though they are private?

I have this plugin installed, does this help for what im trying to do?

You can add the bots to the VIP group, but people would just be able to use the indexed pages to view the content via the cached system in google.

don't know about vb...but phpbb3 has that permission. but it is useless...coz people can browse your site as a googlebot agent..

Yep. And I found lots of warez forums with the VIP sections open to bots.
