When is an unused domain still worth keeping?

Then nothing happens for years.

No traffic, no offers, no active site.

What makes you still renew one instead of dropping it?

That is a good point. Some domains are not kept because they have traffic today. They are kept because the future use case is still clear like a brand, a project, a company name, or a defensive asset.

The harder decision is when the reason becomes only “maybe someday” without any real plan.
