Alternatives for ZOOM File Uploader

Hello Wjunction Community,

After years of using zoom uploader i noticed its no longer working, their website is down, i have tried with multiple IP addresses on different Computer across the WWW..... Does anyone know of a similar application that supports the same number of Hosts like Zoom does?

I’ve been facing the same problem since this morning. Their site came back online for a while, and the app started working again temporarily, but now it’s not working anymore.

There is an alternative called PolyUploader, but it’s not as user-friendly as Zoom. After facing this issue, I realized that I shouldn’t depend entirely on Zoom File Uploader. So, I’ve already created a script using the API of the host I’m currently using. However, it’s still not as user-friendly as the app.

I’m pretty confident that the app will start working again once their issue is resolved.

There is themaCreator uploader which can upload files and generate full posts (with all information, cover, previews, download links, automatic shorting hosts usage if needed).

It basically makes ready to use posts which can be posted to forums / blogs or anywhere else.

Wait, how did I forget about ThemaCreator? I think it's because comparing it to Zoom doesn't really make sense. Zoom is pretty basic, you just upload a file and it gives you a download link. That's it. ThemaCreator, though, does way more than that. It actually builds the entire post for you, uploads the file, and fills in all the necessary details in one go.

Movies, software, ebooks doesn't matter what it is. ThemaCreator preps the whole post and gives you the upload link along with it.

My bad for leaving it out. I'd honestly recommend giving it a shot. It's been a staple in the scene/P2P world for years. If you've been around that community for a while, you've definitely heard of it. Can't believe I forgot to mention it, to be honest.

Not sure how you forget us

You can in themaCreator change your post template to only have the download links (nothing more).

It will then just output the download links and won't do anything else if someone doesn't need full post generation.

You can easily then just view the links or copy them somewhere else where needed.

It can be used as just an uploader (but it can do much more which might make the life even easier).

It would be great if ThemeCreator had a feature to download torrent magnet URLs, even for a single post. Download torrent >> Create post and automatically copy the post to the clipboard using xclip. copy magnet url and post ready

There are tons of torrent clients who can download magnet / torrent files already. There was no need to re-create a torrent client which does that much better.

You can setup that new downloaded files are automatically processed / uploaded by themaCreator with "Folder monitoring" feature.

The generated posts can be automatically sent to themaPoster for instant posting (there is no need to use clipboard), posts can be setup to be sent to themaPoster fully automatically.
