Issue with Views Count on Bestreams.net

I was surprised to see that Bestreams.net didn't have an "official" thread. Actually, there's hardly anything about this host at all, so either Bestreams is the *perfect* host or hardly anyone uses it. :-)

Anyway, I PMed them a number of times about this particular issue and no one has responded, so I wanted to ask if anyone else on here has this going on with Bestreams -- I have lots and lots of files with zero views where (as far as I can tell because of views counters where the files are placed) the files actually have many, many views in some cases. Certainly not zero in *any* case. I'll have a file on Bestreams with a bunch of views counted. Then they'll be five in a row with nothing, then one with views counted, then another six without. That type of thing. And there's lots like this.

Bestreams has always paid. I haven't had issues as far as that's concerned. But getting a response to a PM seems impossible. And I'm wondering what's going on with this views thing...

It is painful contacting them, i think i got about two replies for all the messages i have sent them. try sending to their Paypal email.
i don't know about the view counts since i don't upload new videos on them.
i have a pending payment since 2015-08-19 that's 2 weeks (and they say they pay weekly!)
 
It seems to always take around 2-3 weeks to get paid, at least for me, but so far at least they've paid. And they still use Paypal, which I like. Although I'm probably tempting fate now by saying those things LOL.

Thanks for the suggestion about the Paypal e-mail address. I'll try that.

They do pay, but they record views on less than 50% of uploaded videos. They do not answer inquires about this. Taking that in to consideration, their advertised rates are false. You can either get mad and call them thieves, or you can use them and realize that's just the way it is. They also don't allow file deletion (most likely because they don't want you to replace a file that is not getting views?), or moving. Quite an amateurish setup if you ask me. They are a bad host in this regard. My personal recommendation is to steer clear of them and use another host that at least answers a customer's questions.
 
I can see many users, including myself, keep experiencing the same problems with Bestreams net.
The sad thing is that mentioned website's admin doesn't reply on messages.
At this moment using Bestreams services became almost impossible to me.
And here's the list of the most annoying issues.

1. I can't upload files bigger than 400 MB, even tho the limit is 2500 MB !
2. I can't organize my files, which means, I can't move files to directories created by my, I can't delete damaged or multiplied files that I don't need anymore, which creates incredible mess in main directory.
3. Dedicated uploader device, or whatever it is suppose to be, doesn't work at all. Files simply don't upload, the upload bar stops at 0% and doesn't progress. It "works" this way since I created my account, which was like 8 months ago.
4. On 2015-08-20 the views count stopped. Since that time all my uploaded files show 0 views, although they get regular, full time views (I checked that multiple times, asking a bunch of people for help, so I know for sure each file got at least 10-20 test views from different IPs/countries).
5. Files get deleted due to expiration (read they don't get any views, cause the views don't count).


I reported all mentioned problems to website owner months ago. No reaction, no response. Honestly, this website should be taken down, such quality of services is simply unacceptable.

I can realize that, but don't you think, that's it's a poor excuse for someone who runs "international" web services?
If I offered my services to thousands of people from many different countries, I would actually bother to hire/get someone who could help me to translate important messages and contact users. Most admins care about such details, Bestreams' owner doesn't and that's a fact.

So far, they've always paid me. But it takes a couple of weeks usually.

So now I'm thinking maybe I tempted fate saying how Bestreams always pays, as it's been more than two weeks now and I still haven't been paid. :( And (of course) no one from Bestreams replies to my e-mail.

Some horribly bad news

I'm sorry to inform you, that bestream's owner officially steals from us, getting profit from our uploads and not rewarding us properly.
Recently I published one post, in which I shared the list of technical problems with mentioned hosting.
The same list I sent to the website owner, multiple times. I never got any response.
I stopped uploading files to bestreams, I decided I won't be supporting and feeding someone who doesn't care.
Still I had some regular views, cause my uploaded files are present in web until now and people can click them, which used to give me about 1000 views daily.
That's not much, but I checked my reports from last week and guess what, the number of views dropped drastically. Like I said before, views don't count, or the count is simply hidden, but the links still get "physical" views. And now my daily reports dropped to 20-25 views daily! From average 1k! Can you imagine that?
It happened just during one week.
Now, here's explanation.
Bestreams.net has PayPal as the only payment method.
About two weeks ago PayPal officially blocked all bestreams' transactions and started blocking accounts of people who used to receive money from that website's owner. You know their procedures, they keep asking for explanations, details of money transactions and so on.
Now all of you should be prepared, that you won't get any money from this company/dude in the future. Unless he wakes up and offers some alternative payment method, but I wouldn't count on that.
From what I observed so far I can tell, that he will just continue the procedure that I described above, gaining money from your uploads and views and not sharing a single coin with you. He may still keep some most active and profitable users and their accounts, but the rest of us is just a free source of income for him.
We can't delete our files. But we can stop uploading to this hosting and stop feeding the moneysucker.
Go and check your recent reports and views on uploaded files. If you noticed that the same happened to you, post information here and let others know.
If you created bestreams account recently, don't bother to make uploads, don't expect to be paid for your effort, just find a better, trusted file hosting website.
 
It's quite a coincidence that you wrote this. Because just today I told my husband that I'm concerned Bestreams isn't going to pay. Normally it takes Bestreams about two weeks to pay, but it's been since the end of August for me and still nothing. What you've said makes perfect sense. And not getting the hits is getting annoying. I even e-mailed them directly from the e-mail address on the Paypal payment, but nothing. I'm going to stop using them as of now. It doesn't help that they're profiting off me and they're ripping me off, but what else to do? Thanks for clarifying things with Bestreams. Hopefully others will read this and discontinue using Bestreams too.

I'm waiting for a payment since October 12. My last payment took a long time as well and they weren't counting my views from what I could tell. But they seemed to have fixed the views thing and paid me so I thought "OK, problem solved." But now it's even worse with the payment because it's been almost a month and they don't respond to e-mails.

I'm having the same issue with Mightyupload, in that it's about a month since I requested a payout. Although they wrote back at least, berating me for having the nerve to be concerned because my payout was too small potatoes to worry about. So I should just keep my socks on. Some of these hosts are getting very, very slack. And unfortunately I'm dealing with two of them LOL.

Well, I asked two people who use Bestreams and discovered that they were paid! One of them has been paid twice since I've been waiting for my one, single payment. I guess these two people get more hits than me so Mr. Bestreams is paying selectively. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to see my money this time, frankly. Between this and Mightyupload, it's a bit annoying, but what to do other than keep asking them and warn others?

Well, I think I'm going have to admit defeat with Bestreams. :( It's going on six weeks now and not only haven't I been paid, but I now have enough to cash out again, they don't contact me AND Bestreams has paid other people. Realistically, I know I'm not the biggest money-maker for Bestreams, that's for sure. But the idea that Bestreams is paying others and not paying me (and likely won't) is extremely annoying.

To be honest, I need this money. I count on it. As I'm sure many of us do. And when I see more and more hits on my files, knowing that Bestreams is making money off me and doesn't pay me? Well, it's just unfair. And not right. But there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I can't delete my files off Bestreams, so that's no option.

I should've had a clue when Bestreams didn't even have an "official" thread on here LOL. I guess I didn't choose my hosts well enough, considering I'm having the same problem with Mightyupload too. No one seems to say anything about slow payments from either of these hosts but me, but yet many have issues with slow payments on other host threads. I'm starting to think I'm really the only one who Bestreams doesn't pay...

They finally paid me mid December 2015 when I cashed out on October 12. By then, I had enough to cash out again because I'd (foolishly) continued to use them through November 2015. I ended up writing quite a few negative comments about them on here and sent them numerous e-mails out of irritation. So maybe they finally paid me to get me to stop e-mailing them. Then I cashed out again on December 15 right away and they still haven't paid me. From what I can tell, they pay big earners while smaller earners sit in the corner indefinitely. So in theory they might pay you. But they're unreliable. Another issue is that I suspected they weren't giving me credit for all my views. I do believe that happened, but it improved at some point. I can see some people continue using Bestreams and I can only presume those people get paid or why would they continue?
