also it depends on ur site exposure
sites like TPB will always have to change domains bcoz they are in hitlists of many countries

You can try .nl, .se, .ru
These are supposedly the safest ones.

Regarding TPB's domains, well TBP's level of copyright infringement is unmatched, so it would be unwise to use that as an example.
Secondly, one of the reason they change the TLD is because several countries have their ISPs ban the domain, so by getting another TLD, they are again opening up themselves to the then lost visitor base.
