Just stop using Paypal.

All Indian people use http://payu.in (PP Accepted).
Other than India use all 10 billion sites available on Google.

In here many File Shearing site owners and other sites owners are doing the same thing.. Even my fav site get blacklisted because of these kind of people (I have proofs). Anyway.. WJ admins never reconsider because it's oldor they don't have time. But these guys always bumping hosters day and night,..

Thanks

We already have a PayU India Merchant Account but they don't accept PayPal or International Credit/Debit cards !!
We accept payments only from Verified PayPal accounts now and we verify identity of all clients by their passport or relevant docs. We have to be strict to avoid/minimize such issues in future.
It have resulted in decreased sales but atleast we have genuine long term clients.

Trust me don't use paypal... Whenever you are able to go through the verification process of 2CheckOut its worth it at the end!

If you actively try to avoid certain types of clients you can reduce the number of abusive clients trying to buy your services.

Warez, hacking, porn and other questionable activity will of course attract more abusive clients as you build your reputation on that. For example, if you have a high number of questionable sites hosted, you are unlikely to get quality customers that not only use fewer resources, but also have virtually no chance of getting DDOS or having special requirements.

If you do host questionable sites that you NEED to charge more. The ones who want it cheap and dirty will be the most troublesome whereas those willing to pay understand that the cost of hosting them is actually higher than hosting some little blogger.

Paypal has not been too bad for us. They have suspended our accounts and cost us thousands of dollars of charge backs over the years but ultimately it is still the best payment processing option out there in the eyes of the consumer. Merchants may begin to loathe it but the number of buyers means you cannot cut them out. Legit buyers won't bother signing up with some other payment gateway just to get some hosting.

If you do do away with Paypal and stick with payment gateways preferred by the 'questionable', and you still maintain low prices, you will never be able to avoid the abusive clients. Well.. not without extensive client screening.

As for dealing with negative reviews, just confront them in the thread and explain your situation. If you feel it is not your fault, just be grown up about it and share your own views. Typically it is the one that sounds like a 12 yr old that ends up looking bad so don't engage in petty squabbles. And even if what they complain about is true, you can still be open an honest about the situation and apologize for any short comings. No one is perfect. Even the biggest and best make mistakes. This is how we grow and learn. The best way to get out of hot water when something is your fault is to take responsibility and explain how you have or will deal with it to prevent such a fault occurring again.

Just my 2c.

2CO is okay. They work well enough but they are very expensive and have virtually non existent support.

Paypal is more competitively priced and their support (in HK) is better.

In my opinion, both companies have grown to such a size that neither care about losing a few customers or having a few negative things said about them.

Unfortunately there aren't many other gateways around these days. At least outside of the US.

Non sense. 2CO will suspend your account and then ignore you. I have yet to receive more than $1000 2CO owes me, I have been waiting since the end of 2012, it was supposed to be only 3 months. And that's their thanks for 3 years of successful processing.

Regarding the main topic, customers on the cheapest packages expect and complain the most from my experience. Sometimes it's better to refund and part ways, otherwise you loose much more in your time and stress they cause you. Just stay calm.

From a merchant perspective, Paypal is one of the best options out there to be perfectly honest. At least it is for genuine legitimate businesses.

2Checkout comparatively is expensive, lacking in support and overall more troublesome in my opinion.

But in all honesty, BOTH are acceptable for genuine businesses. Likewise, payment gateways suitable for, shall we say, 'nefarious' activities are less suitable for genuine business. Sometimes the mere association with other gateways may reflect badly on the business.

After-all, 2CO and Paypal didn't grow to their size and stature by facilitating criminal transactions.

PayPal is a better option. I preferred 2checkout/moneybookers but both of them aren't supporting hosting clients.
2Checkout had our merchant account closed recently. So Yeah Paypal has always been good.

Experiencing the exact opposite myself, PayPal limited and freezed all my funds.
2CheckOut have always paid me out on time until today.

And 2CheckOut pay outs are per week, just set the correct release lvl for it..
Now when contacting PayPal's customers phone support the only thing they say is they will make notice about it.
However on 2CheckOut support replies take 24 hrs, and are also solved when they reply back.

^^ I was about to say the same

PayPal is great when your actual verified as a company tbh

We where business verified, did you ever even read the PayPal rules and regulations? Or did you just skip the entire text because its way to long like everyone else?

EDIT:
You ever heard of PRQ right? One of the DC's in the world that hosts a lot of crap of the web.
They really host anything!

Now visit there site:
http://prq.se/

Now is it just me, or when you visit that site it shows?:

Also would suggest you to do some research, for example go here:

paypalsucks.com

There is nothing wrong with PayPal until you start to become big.
