VPS kills download

when I'm using curl or wget to download something VPS kills it.
It downlads and just say "Killed"
why is that?

no, I don't.
Before it was downloading normal. I was using plowshare but now, with wget it slow and gets killed, with curl it is faster and sometimes downloads sometimes gets killed in the middle. I checked "top" and noticed that curl is using 99% of CPU.

That means someone is killing the curl process. Do you have any other user logged inside the VPS at the same time? It is possible that your host is killing the process manually or through an automated script due to high resource usage.

I don't have any other users.
I though so too, but why is that?
I have 256RAM and using only curl.

Update your software and try to stop any other programs running and see if there is a issue with other programs running.

use cpulimit in a screen so curl won't overload your node. Also find the reason in meantime because it is not a normal behaviour.

cpulimit doesn't help. I even limited to 20%. What is interesting is that plowshare which uses curl doesn't get killed
