Would You Let AI Turn Off Auto-Renew for a Project Domain?

Project domains are not always easy to judge from a dashboard.

A name can have little traffic and still be tied to an old redirect, email address, test site or project that may come back later.

AI can help flag weak domains, but turning off auto-renew turns a recommendation into an action with a deadline attached.

Would you let AI switch off auto-renew for a project domain without a final manual check?

I don't trust AI, it tries too hard to be something it isn't, a human.

Just recently on the site I am admin on it tried to show empathy/sympathy and understanding and AI, can't do that because it has no feelings or emotions. Sooner or later, some people will make a connection with it, like they do with other people.

The overly personal tone can feel odd, especially when you just want a straight answer. For something like renewals, I’d rather see “here’s what I checked, and here’s what I couldn’t check.” That gives me something concrete to judge before making the decision.

Look at the amount of people that take some tv series as real and then throw in the issue with AI, it's not real, AI isn't emotional or have feelings and yet people will grow to accept it like it does, I'm not sure what that says for a lot of the human race but I will always see it for what it is. A manmade construct a bit like religion, in some respects. Has that helped anyone really or has it just caused more conflict?

skynet is coming and I hope I'm either not around to see that day or I can do something to stop it...either way it will be here sooner rather than later I fear
