I am a huge fan of Drupal as there are never ending modules and reams of community support pages for all sorts of projects you can think of. While Drupal is more of a general CMS (Content Management System) it does have various off-shoots into specialized areas in which you can probably find some things for what your looking for. Oh, and its open source
