1TB HDD :S If you can spend upto Euro 40~ max, better look at worldstream's special offers

We bought a 2TB AMD DualCore II for Euro 40 with 8GB Ram, they had a 1TB HDD one for E38 I remember, or mail them for custom config you need :)
 
Actually implementing any kind of limits increases load on server in terms of network speed.
But there is option to limit RAM but it is really not required as there are only 2 users and as both know each other, just use it fairly, you will both have best performance.
There are few tweaks more like limiting peers and seeds will make sure that seedbox does not consume too much of resources, helps maintain stability.
 
I asked OVH about their abuse/dmca handling policy and they don't even bother to reply.

They are kinda strange.
Sometimes, they don't suspend you even if they get a lot of complaints and sometimes suspend you on first complaint.

I tried to search all over internet but couldn't found anything exact about their abuse handling policy.

However, I read somewhere under my OVH Manager that P2P activities are not allowed.
I suggest you to use servers from a DC which gives atleast 24 hours time to resolve any complaint.
Because torrents may lead to many complaints.

Edit : OVH may be safe because I, myself never got complaint/suspension and some users here also report the same, :)

To be fair, I've repeatedly raped OVH over the years and have never had any suspension or any other issues with them, and at one point I was running a Seedbox/leech/SFTP/streaming audio and video without any attempt to hide what I was doing so I'd safely say you'd be fine. :P
 
I think that any DC allow torrents, but if you download from private trackers you will not get DMCA complaints.

I have the same server and I never had problems.
 
There are many OVH resellers on WJ.. grab one from them. franceservers may be good.

Kimsufi + Windows + uTorrent + RDP = Best Seedbox, :)
