Well if we knew we would be creating it. It would defiantly attract teens to mid 30's as that is where most of the traffic will come from. If you are trying to get an idea just for yourself try something like

http://google.com/trends

it will give you the latest trends and stuff. I think maybe a more advanced version of a soical networking site might come in. Twitter and Facebook kind of suck tbh.

No cybaff I think you misunderstood. He was asking what will come and out do facebook, twitter, even youtube. Not who ranks the highest now. :D

mytwitbookspace Combining all the features of my yearbook, twitter, facebook, and myspace all into one big package with skype and gmail. Why not even throw in itunes.

Social and Local Search.
Currently search engines all work on algorithms taking into account lots of different things when returning search results. Google is currently the king at this.

Now Current Search is brilliant when you want to know real data. eg if you were to use Google to find the population of USA you'd basically be returned the answer you want.

The problem with Google is it's not that good with social at all which is more useful when your looking for an opinion on something. eg What is the best restaurant in some small town your car has broke down in. This is where social and local search come in as it's recommended to you by people and something Facebook is developing a lot.

So why is this going to be the next big thing?
Well sites like Facebook know your interests, friends, likes, hobbies etc. Now imagine using that data to return search results to you. Take it one step further and add the local aspect to it.

Imagine walking down the street and you get a push notification to your phone as you pass a clothes shop and your told that the jersey or top you liked last week on their website is now half price.

Or lets say your out one night and check your profile. Your told that an old classmate's new band is about to go live on stage is a pub 5 minutes down the road.

That's the future of advertising and information and the next big thing. Knowing what you like and feeding information that's relevant to you.
