sooooo i fucked myself big time (winrar)

so it was like 2 am, was dead tired and fucking around with winrar trying t split a file into 3 parts when compressed. id never done this before and i thought the dropdown box was uhm....i forget.

the point is, instead of taking the 300mb file and selecting 100mb in the little box,

i selected something like 90.

yeah, so winrar started splitting my file into 90kb parts onto the desktop...and im so tired it takes me like 3 to 5 minutes to realize somethings wrong here......but it was too late. my desktop is filled (overfilled) with THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of fucking 90kb winrar files.

and it gets better! i cant just delete them! i delete the ones that are shown, but if i refresh the desktop after that it crashes windows explorer....not to mention i now cant shut off my computer cause upon reboot exporer crashes and the whole system wont load!

my other user accounts are fine, but is ther ANywAy to fix this? a system resotre doesnt help at all....will i just have to format this portion of windows? or perhaps uninstall winrar? would that do it?

login to another admin account and then go to the account folders desktop where u pranked ur self on and delete the files from their

login from another user account (must be a administrator)
goto C:\Users\"your user name"\Desktop

and delete all the rar files.hope it helps..

Oh, don't forget to hold Ctrl when you press the delete button so that you aren't moving them to Recycle bin to delete them the second time.

Go to InstallationDrive:\Users\{your usename}\Desktop as others said
Then in the search box
Search for .rar and select all the files (Ctrl + A) and delete them with Ctrl pressed.
Or search for filename eg: filename_part

omg i love u guys! thank you so much, turns out i had created 2,500 files on my deskto p that were all 1kb each!

how fun! no wonder explorer would crash, but its all fixed now! thank you guys!

Dang, great way to prank someone with winrar, next time I'm at a buddies house.

its not that funny. 2500 1kb files crashed windows explorer and made my computer unusable, im assuming more tahn that would of had even worse consequences. i wouldnt reccomend this really guys....
